 16 Nepali brethren have come to make their church home base in our church. More will be coming not only to worship but also to learn English. Will you come to serve this special community which has come so far to work in our country? This is a door of opportunity to serve God right at our doorstep. We need volunteers! We need church members, especially young men in their 20s and 30s, to welcome them, guide them, and administer to them. Let us make a difference in their life as well as ours!

 We welcome church members and friends to come and learn the Nepali language. The course is primarily colloquial and practical. It will help us learn the cultural aspects of Nepal and understand its daily life activities, religion, culture, festivals, history, geography, etc. Also, let us be enabled to reach out to the Nepali migrant workers, and God willing, in Nepal itself! Come!

A service will be held on Saturday, 8 March 2008, at Wesley Methodist Church Klang, 4, Jln Bukit Jawa, Kelang at 3.30 p.m. Mrs Lily Ch’ng will speak on the theme “God’s Wisdom Provides New Understanding”.
Two offertories will be taken for (a) The World Day of Prayer and (b) Fellowship of the Least Coin. Methodist Women, please bring your coin boxes. All ladies are welcome to attend this service when together with ladies in other parts of the world we will pray for Guyana. |
