Worshipping in Spirit and in Truth

John 4:23But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. 24 For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:23-24 NLT)

We all have our preferences, so a worshipper may choose to worship  in the Sanctuaryduring our Traditional Worship Services, or at the Contemporary Worship Service.  Our traditional worship services use the order of service and hymns found in the United Methodist Hymnal whilst our Contemporary Worship Services are based on the same order of service but use more contemporary songs of worship and praise. Either way, it is our attitude of worship that the Lord looks on - not the form or style.  We focus on God, and God alone  as the substance of our experiences in worship. The form and style that you choose is only a means by which you are aided into entering into a worship encounter with our Holy God that is both in spirit and in truth.

Worshippers are encouraged to arrive early for services in order to centre their thoughts and fellowship with the Lord in prayer.  Our servicesalso have liturgical and spontaneous prayer during the service.  Prayer intercessors pray for the worshippers during the service and are also available after the service if worshippers request for prayer and intercession.  During the week (normally Tuesdays or Fridays) you are also welcome to join our Small Groupor Parish meetings for worship, prayer, and fellowship in a more closely knit community.  We also welcome your prayerful presence at the Churchwide Prayer Meeting that fellowships most Saturday mornings at the Multi Purpose Hall for prayer and intercession.
